Magellan wants to remind you that being dubbed a “crossover” shouldn’t be restricted to just vehicles. The navigation device-maker unveiled their new CrossoverGPS at SEMA in Las Vegas. The waterproof portable just screams out how rugged it is, boasting an army-esque green paintjob. The large 3.5-inch color display is a touchscreen and it is capable of providing beautiful 3D images. It’s preloaded with 2 million points of interest and a bevy of maps (both street and topographic), while expansion comes by way of SD cards should you ever feel the need to update.

Look for the Magellan CrossoverGPS to start shipping next month with the MSRP set at $550.
