Pantech & Curitel achieves KDDI milestone

Pantech may not exactly be a household name in North America, but they are certainly starting to make waves clear cross the world. The latest achievement by Pantech & Curitel is that their A1406PT clamshell has become KDDI’s second best seller in Japan. Kudos to the Korean manufacturer, as the A1406PT is only their sophomore effort in the land of the rising sun, and it has only been on the market for two months. As a refresher, this cutie pie of a flip phone boasts a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera, EZweb, MP3 ringtones, and a “crime prevention buzzer.”
