This whole “world’s first” is little more than a game of semantics. While SanDisk has been providing thumb drives with retractable USB connectors for some time now, PQI is saying that their offering is the first to do the same but with a “click-style.” Semantics, I say, semantics.

Capacity ranges from 512MB on the low end up to a respectable 4GB on the high end. The design isn’t particularly inspiring, but I do like the “click” function (just like a ballpoint pen). No word on pricing, but I wouldn’t expect too much of a premium on this relative novelty.
