Normally, when you looking to have extended video watching sessions on the go, you’d want something at least in the four inch screen range. Sometimes, however, you just want something that is infinitely portable. For those who value pocketability, Cowon has their new D2 personal media player. Although the display is a mere 2.5-inches, the cogs running the show are fairly impressive.

Not only will you get to enjoy the usual suite of music (MP3, WMA, and yes, even Ogg Vorbis), but it’ll do video (MPEG-4, WMV9, FLAC) and DMB too (with its built-in tuner). There’s 2GB of internal memory — which can be expanded via SD/MMC cards — as well as an FM tuner and voice recorder. Battery life is rated at 45 hours and 8 hours for music and video respectively. No word on pricing or availability.
