The NF-810 from Nexx is clearly borrowing some of its styling cues from Apple, but it’s got a slight leg up on its hugely popular counterpart. The NF-810 is capable of playing video — in form of SMV files — as well as audio (MP3, WMA, ADPCM). Naturally, Nexx is giving you the necessary software to do the video conversion on your own time, but I’m not sure if you’d want to watch a feature film on the 1.66-inch TFT screen anyways. Other key specs include a JPEG photo viewer, multi-lingual interface, FM radio, voice recorder, and digital equalizer. Battery life is rated at ten hours.
No word on pricing or availability, but we do hear that Nexx will be offering the NF-810 in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB variations. Not exactly up to snuff with the new iPod nanos.
