While we wait for the official launch of the Microsoft Zune, we’ve got to wonder what kind of battery life this thing will be able to rock. Those numbers have just come in. It turns out that if you will be using the Zune for tunes alone, turning off any kind of WiFi capability and avoiding the inevitable need to change the volume, jump to the next track, and so on, you will get 14 hours of musical enjoyment. Tack on the wireless feature and you lose some life, naturally. When you switch over to video watching, however, that number drops dramatically to a not-so-nice four hours of juice.
