What do you do when people start to forget about your once innovative product? Slap on a different color shell, of course, and that’s exactly what Samsung has done with their Ultra Edition 6.9. Also known as the SPH-V9900, this ultra-slim candybar will soon be available in a “rose pink” edition.

Naturally, the features remain much the same as its more boring black-clad cousin. It’s the same CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO connection you’ve heard about before, as well as the 2 megapixel camera, 1.9-inch QVGA display, integrated media player, electronic dictionary, and something they call “playing with my pet.” Maybe it’s just the pictures, but it doesn’t even look all that pink, though KTF is clearly the lucky hombre to get this handset.
