Keeping it light: 3M DLP projector only 1.1kg

This is the wave of the future, I’m telling you. Lightweight projectors are not only popular with mobile business professionals, but more and more homes are starting to adopt the technology in place of conventional televisions. The latest company to go lightweight with their projectors is 3M, which has just unveiled an aluminium-bodied unit weighing in at just a touch over one kilogram (2.5 pounds or so).

The DLP projector comes with the standard dial to let you focus and zoom, and around the back you’ll find input jacks for USB, audio (stereo mini), S-Video, and DVI-I. No word on pricing, but this is purely a Korea-bound item, at least for the time being.
