We’ve seen PMPs boast T-DMB reception and even HSDPA connectivity, but we have yet to see a nice 7-inch portable DVD player pack in some nifty 1Seg operation. Unfortunately, the wait continues with the Rossini RPD7100SN-SV from Nagase.

To be available in Japan, this portable DVD player is said to “accept a digital 1Seg TV tuner operating on batteries”, but it doesn’t actually integrate the tuner itself. Boo-urns.

The rest of the features — 7-inch screen, 720 x 480 resolution, MP3 playback, 765 grams, and a lack of DivX support — aren’t particularly interesting, nor is the 235 Euro (nearly US$300) price.
