UTStarcom “Slice”-ing and dicing with Virgin Mobile

Loving the SLVR look but not digging the SLVR price? Budget-minded consumers will certainly enjoy the skinny styling of the UTStarcom PCS-1400, now available through Virgin Mobile as the “Slice.” Cosmetically, it’s nearly identical to the GSM-running UT1200 we’ve seen before.

As far as features are concerned, the biggest selling point is its super slim 10mm profile, because there really isn’t that much else going for it: 128 x 128 display, 32MB internal memory, and speakerphone. There’s no Bluetooth, not even a camera. On the upside, it’ll only cost you fifty bucks to get one. Prepaid users can be fashionable too.
