Peace out: Samsung builds Bang & Olufsen Serene cell phone

Bang & Olufsen’s first foray into the mobile phone market is a peaceful one. They want you to be calm and relaxed when you pick up and use the Serene, manufactured “in association” with Samsung. When you flip open this unique-looking clamshell, you will think that you’re holding the phone upside-down: the color display and mic are on the bottom half, whereas the rotary-styled numpad is on the top half.

There’s probably not a boatload of features, but you can expect to get Bluetooth, mobile email, SMS/MMS, speech recognition, VGA camera, and “B&O’s signature sound quality.”
