T-Mobile likes to party, dresses up Limited Edition Sidekick 3s

This trend is getting a little too popular for my tastes. When they a certain handset is getting a touch dated and not being perceived as “hip” enough compared to some other offerings out there, the reaction is to dress them up in a slightly different outfit and remarket them back to the eagerly awaiting public. The Sidekick 3 has received fashion upgrades from Lifted Research Group (LRG) and Diane von Furstenburg, getting dolled up respectively in a dressy green and black case. Don’t expect anything to have changed other than the outward appearance of these Limited Edition SK3s, so it’s the same 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, miniSD, QWERTY, 200MHz processor, 64MB SDRAM and the same amount in flash memory.
