E-TEN X500 Pocket PC phone comes up a little thin

They’ve decided to market it as a “thin smartphone”, but at a touch over 15 mm, the E-TEN X500 is far from being the skinniest offering out there. That said, it comes load with all the Pocket PC goodies you’ve come to expect, keeping you in touch and on schedule.

Connectivity is covered reasonably well with 802.11g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, but there’s no 3G radio on board. Other than that, you’ll get microSD expansion, FM radio, GPS, a 2 megapixel cam with autofocus, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, and a Samsung 400 MHz processor. This Windows Mobile 5-powered smartphone has yet to receive an official release date or price, but realistically, there’s nothing all too exciting here anyway.
