Palm Treo 680 officially official

As promised, the crew at Palm have gone on the record and made the entry-level Treo 680 official. This latest model thankfully eschews the butt ugly antenna, opting for a sleek internal signal grabber. This quad-band GSM handset doesn’t have a jaw-dropping spec sheet — 64MB RAM, redesigned phone UI, standard Palm OS, VGA cam — but at least you get to choose from some rather attractive flavors. The Palm Treo 680 will be offered in Graphite, Copper, Arctic, and Crimson. No official word yet, but chances are that this smartphone is Cingular-bound.
