Bluetooth is branching out.

The celebrated wireless technology protocol has released a new version of TransSend, a technology that makes it much easier for PDA and mobile phone users to transfer Web data from a PC to a portable device.

It’s a server-client application that allows images and text-based data to flow directly to portable devices, all with just one click. Good news for those who want to download maps, phone numbers, and other kinds of contact info quickly and efficiently to their phones and PDAs.
