T-Mobile’s Dash smartphone is finally here.

The mobile Web functions are the by-now standard twins of push email and Web browsing. Dash is able to surf using any T-Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. It’s Bluetooth-enabled as well.

The phone part of this handset is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE measure (sorry, no UMTS yet). T-Mobile has thrown in a 1.3-megapixel picture taker as well, so as not to be left behind by the cameraphone revolution.

The main difference between Dash and other devices of its ilk is that this new one has been slimmed down without losing any of its functionality. The built-in Flash memory is a healthy 128MB, and it has a microSD slot to boot.

You can get the Dash for just $350 unattached. Buy a one-year or two-year contract and the price goes down accordingly.
