It’s not exactly pocketable, but the Solvo S830 has a heck of a lot going for it that would explain its girth. They’ve kept the package reasonably slim at just 0.92 inches, but there’s a huge 7-inch touchscreen display here to go with 64MB SDRAM, 128MB NAND Flash, and SD expansion slot (1GB card included). When you’re looking to get to grandma’s place, the built-in SiRF Star III GPS chipset will navigate you without a hitch; when you need to keep the kiddies entertained, the PMP functionality will keep them occupied for hours; and when you run out of cool stuff in your own library, the T-DMB tuner will keep everything fresh and new. No word on pricing and availability.
