Onkyo unveils wireless USB audio transmitter

It’s tiny, it’s a memory stick, and it’s wireless USB. Okay, two out of three isn’t bad (there’s no storage here).

Onkyo says it has developed a wireless USB audio transmitter that can get your tunes from your PC to your home stereo system without any of those entangling wires or other headaches. Working in the 2.4 GHz range, the UWL-1, which is actually two devices, can reach speakers up to 90 feet away.

Any digital audio can travel from the UWL-1 devices to your speakers, including MP3s, CDs, and even Internet radio.

No set date or price have been announced.
