Motorola and Deutsche Telekom are getting together to help fund an American video WLAN startup called Ruckus Wireless. The idea is to distribute video wirelessly throughout a home or small office.

The company also announced a product called MediaFlex NG, which is actually an upgrade of its existing flagship technology that transfers streaming video from a broadband gateway to a viewscreen. (It doesn’t have to be a TV.)

You can Ruckus Wireless in several places in Hong Kong and in the U.S.

The Motorola and Deutsche Telekom funding will no doubt help Ruckus to continue to grow and explore new technologies. No doubt the other two companies will get first dibs on a finished product as well.
