It’s not really mountain biking season anymore — frosty, snow-filled hills might not be the safest terrain for your BMX — but this nifty innovation will certainly come in handy. Loading your bike on top of your car just isn’t fashionable (or particularly easy). With Opel’s new solution, you can have a bike rack when you need it, and hide it away when you don’t. When extended, it’ll hold a pair of bicycles off the car’s backside, but when you’re done, the rack folds up neatly, hiding itself underneath the vehicle. Out of sight! This neat-o bike rack will be available with the European Opel Antara and Corsa. Word has it that they may be putting this on the America-bound Saturn Vue at some point as well.
