Some design geniuses have really outdone themselves with the Wind Shaped Pavilion. It’s a large structure made of lightweight fabric. Each of the six segments can be rotated slowly and independently by the wind. Not only does that constantly change the shape of the pavilion, practically ensuring it will never look the same twice, but the movement also generates enough electricity to keep the structure illuminated at night. It’s just a concept now, but a pretty cool one. The design, if made with different materials, could also be used for apartments, so that inhabitants could change their views when they wanted to.
