Japan to get Sony PSP “Bonus Pack”

As if there weren’t enough of these bundles floating around already, Sony has just unveiled a limited edition “Bonus Pack” for its PSP handheld gamer and multimedia machine. In the past (in North America anyways), we’ve been treated to the Value Pack, Giga Pack and so on, though it seems like only the core system is sold today. Perhaps this “pack” strategy works a little better in Japan.

You can choose either the black or ceramic white PSP and get a color matching pouch, a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, USB cable, stand, AC adapter, and battery pack. So, really, you get an extra pouch and a bigger memory card. Big deal… They’re not even telling us how much it will cost when it hits Akihabara on October 18th. Oh well, back to Mario Hoops I go.
