Toshiba reveals DivX-ing, 1Seg-ing, shiny black DVD-PMP combo

Want a personal media player that will handle just about every kind of mobile entertainment you throw at it? Toshiba’s latest offering just might suit your needs, given that it is not only a portable DVD player, but also a DivX player as well as a 1seg digital TV receiver. You will certainly never run out of handheld video if you choose to pick up this unit, apparently dubbed the SD-P500T.

The widescreen player of unspecified resolution will pick up 1seg HD mobile digital video broadcasting signals, so you can only assume that it should be capable of at least 720p. No word on pricing or availability, but you can get a closer look if you happen to be down Japan way at CEATEC.
