Recy, the 100% recyclable wooden Mercedes roadster

The LA Design Challenge has yielded a new take on a Mercedes roadster. As part of the challenge, Mercedes North America designers created the Recy roadster which is entirely recyclable. It is made of wood, alloys, glass and rubber, and the entire car can be returned back to Mother Earth (or used again) when the life of the car has passed. The LA Design Challenge is part of the LA Auto Show. Makers, including Audi, Acura, Honda, Mini and Hummer will try to make the best vehicle with the least environmental impact.
