It seems like everyone these days wants to get a big piece of the supercar market. We’ve seen some odd entries from the Dutch and the Aussies in the past, and now we turn to Southeast Asia for the latest quirk.

The 2008 Galmer Arbitage GT is a hot and spicy, much like most things that come out of Thailand. Powered by a 500hp Chevy LS7 engine (7.0L V8), this carbon fiber supercar is mated with a six-speed gearbox and carbon fiber rims. With a little tweaking, they say it isn’t difficult to massage 800 horses out of this kit car (some say that it’s not really a “supercar” in its own right). They’re limiting production to just 350 units, 250 of which are US-bound. No word on pricing.
