Nissan is in the green room, putting on the final touches on their new 2007 Altima Hybrid. You see, the car is set to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show less than a week from today. Borrowing the gas-electric hybrid technology from Toyota, Nissan will be building the environmentally-friendly car — the first hybrid from the company, actually — at their Smyrna, Tennessee facility.

Supply will be limited to just eight states though: California, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusets and Connecticut. It’s funny, because the people that live in the state where the car is being built won’t be able to buy one.
