Sony Reader to cost $350, ship in October

The Sony Reader, a paperback sized, grayscale e-Book reader, will start shipping in October with the price set at $350.

It’s a tad pricey in my books, considering that the concept isn’t entirely new, even if the tech is. I do like how e-ink doesn’t require any energy to display an image, only to change it, as this would result in some crazy battery life. And hey, that $350 price tag comes with fifty bucks worth of “free” e-books too.
