Mio Digiwalker H610 personal navigator to hit streets soon

There are those huge DVD-playing head units that come with 7-inch screens, then there are the smaller portable GPS devices that suction cup onto the inside of your windshield, and then there’s this. The Mio DigiWalker H610 is designed not for in-car use, per se, but rather to fulfill all your GPS needs as you stroll down a downtown street.

Of course, it will work while you’re on the road as well. Key features include a library of POIs (points of interest), a touchscreen display, a basic media player (music and video), and SD expansion. The price has been set at $499.95 with the first batch gearing up for a November launch.
