This isn’t an entirely new concept, but it’s still an idea that’s floating around. When you’re walking around a trade show or conference, you meet a lot of people and it’s difficult to remember all their names (let alone their contact info). With Info Rings, you won’t need to. You just simply shake hands with the individual of interest and your pertinent business information is automatically transferred. When you get back to your PC, the data can be reviewed and filed away for future reference.

Realistically though, in this day and age of Bluetooth, WiFi, etc., wouldn’t it make more sense to simply “beam” over your contact info to the other person’s BlackBerry? Relatively instant transfers accompanied by instant review.
