Bono must have complained that he wasn’t getting enough attention or something, because Apple has unveiled an updated U2 iPod a week after they updated all of the other iPods.

The new U2 machine has a brighter screen so that you can enjoy your music video goodness even more. The look is basically the same, complete with the black case, red scroll wheel and the U2 signatures on the back. The price has been dropped, too, like the other 5G units, though the $279 is $30 more than the one that Bono doesn’t love.
