Pioneer MT-01 networks speakers through your electrical wires

Wiring your house for sound can be a pain with all the wires and all that. Pioneer has unveiled their new solution to the dreaded cable problem.

The new Pioneer MT-01 Power Line Sound System lets you link together up to six networked speakers via the electrical wires that run through your walls. The package comes with a main unit, a large 2 x 25W network speaker, a 5W speaker and a keychain remote control. You can obviously add on more. The unit can be set to do neat tricks like turn on automatically when someone enters a room. No word yet on price, but it should be available by the end of the month.
