The front-wheel-drive variant will only put you back $34,795, with the all-wheel-drive option costing you $36,445. The 3.5L V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission are identical to the Edge, but if you pony up for the MKX, you’ll also receive the choice to add adaptive headlights, heated and cooled seats, Panoramic Vista Roof, DVD navigation, THX audio, and more.
Although the MKX starts at $8,000 more than the Edge, it’s still cheaper than the $37,125 Acura MDX and the $38,115 Lexus RX350.
