Dodge Avenger to transform into “mini Magnum”?

The Dodge Avenger shares much of its architecture with its sister vehicle, the Chrysler Sebring. In fact, the two cars will be sporting the exact same engine choices when the new versions hits the showroom floor, but here’s an interesting idea to throw around: What if Dodge decided to make a wagon version of the Avenger as a smaller alternative to the hefty Dodge Magnum?

The artists at CWW Design took that idea, ran with it, and ended up with the rendering which you can see to the right. It certainly is something to think about, considering the rising popularity of “sporty wagons.” The trip to grandma’s is just a little more “hip”, I guess.
