When you try to attack the portable music market dominated by a certain fruity company, you really need to do something to set you apart from the rest of the competition. Samsung has tried doing that with their new YP-K5 MP3 player, which we first heard about last month. Now that it’s hit the market, they need to let the masses know what they are missing, and what better way than with a commercial.

This video is clearly slanted as an anti-iPod campaign, and reminds people of the YP-K5’s primary selling point: an integrated speaker. No longer are you trapped in your own little bubble of music, as the speaker lets you share your tunes. Yes, my friends, for better or for worse, the Samsung YP-K5 could very well be this generation’s ghetto blaster.
