Easily the most recognizable Ford vehicle in history has been their pony car. The Mustang has always been a hot seller, and now it seems that it’ll be getting an “update” for the 2009 model year, with a complete redesign following in 2012.
According to Road and Track, the 2009 facelift will see the Mustang getting a “more modern, aggressive and harder-edged look”, thus departing from the more retro feel we get from the current ‘Stang. The engine choices will be a 3.5L V6 for 260+hp or a 5.0L V8 for a whole lot more. In 2012, an all new generation Mustang will get ushered in, with much of its inspiration coming from the Aussie-Ford Falcon. It may even be a four door.
