While on the road, it isn’t always practical to find yourself a wall outlet and sit there as you watch your portable device get its battery topped up. Thanks to the people at MTI MicroFuel Cells, you won’t need to. Their new Mobion-1 prototype is a charger accessory that is said to house enough juice for over one month of cellular phone usage.

This new prototype is said to “exceed the energy density of average Li-ion batteries” and is about the size of a small paperback novel. It’s compact, lightweight, and packs plenty of recharging power. More specically, the Mobion-1 provides “over 95Wh of continuous run-time”, which is enough for 30 cell phone charges, 5000 digital camera pictures, or 40 MP3 player top-ups.
