So, it’s a beige box that is the source of cheers, laughs, tears, and thought. It can become the focal point of your living room, casting Peter Jackson epics and Peter Griffin antics onto a giant screen. My friends, this is the latest portable DLP projector coming out of the Toshiba factory, and while it may not be the most attractive unit aesthetically, I’m sure it can hold its own in just about any home theatre.

It’s not exactly high definition, but the SVGA (800 x 600) resolution is fairly decent, as is the 400 lux brightness rating. Showcased at IFA 2006 in Germany, this Toshiba DLP projector boasts a 10,000 hour lamp life, 565 gram weight, and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. No word on pricing.
