Sautrn Vue Green Line – cheapest hybrid SUV

There’s another hybrid SUV choice now available. The Saturn Vue Green Line is now being produced in Tennessee. It offers 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the open highway. GM is positioning the vehicle as the most affordable hybrid SUV available. The base price is about $23,000, which is $2,000 more than the standard Vue.

Most hybrids SUVs cost about $3,500 more than the gas alternative, but the cost is lower on this one because it uses a simpler system which runs on the electric motor less often.
