Traditional mobile phone providers will not welcome the development of XMax. XMax, developed by XG Technology in Florida, is the first mobile VOIP system. It uses unlicensed sections of the radio spectrum to easily set up phone and data communication systems. The xG Flash Signal at the heart of the system provides as much as three times the coverage of other wireless systems. That means systems can be set up for a fraction of the cost of other systems, which could lead to lower cost mobile phone communications for all of us one day.
