Walmart to sell Zune for $284, video inside

Apple may have a major competitor on their hands if the Microsoft Zune lives up to its expectations, especially considering that it will be sold in monstrous Walmarts all across the nation. The latest news has Walmart listing the Zune at just $284, suggesting that the MSRP is probably right around $300.

In related news, there is a distinct possibility that a Zune Phone is in the works, but then again, we’ve been hearing about an Apple iPhone for ages, so I wouldn’t count on this any time soon.
