Dell’s massive recall has steamrolled into quite a situation. You can’t even bring laptops on board Korean Air flights anymore because of this whole fiasco. The latest company to put its name in the burning battery hat is Toshiba, which has just announced that they will replace 340,000 faulty batteries.

That figure isn’t quite as huge as Dell’s 4.1 million, but it is still a sizable chunk of the laptop market. It should come as little surprise that the culprit, yet once again, is Sony, the same company that is responsible for exploding batteries in Apple and Dell notebooks. The affected Toshibas are a part of their Dynabook and Dynabook Satellite series. Naturally, their stocks took a hit, falling 0.8% on the news.
