Listening to music can be relaxing in and of itself, but what if I told you that a company has come up with a way to “synchronize brain patterns to signals in music and on-screen visualizations”? They say that this opens up “a huge range of therapeutic applications”, as if bobbing your head to Green Day wasn’t therapeutic enough.

Mind Stereo is a new media player for your computer that may not appear to be all that different from WinAmp or WMP, but it’s got a little something extra. The audio and visual output is modified “to emulate specific neural patterns”, helping you achieve greater concentration, relaxation, creativity, and other experiences as needed (including stress relief).
