Casual games are a huge market, arguably bigger than the conventional video game market because just about anyone can play them. Who hasn’t been caught wasting away their hours on a cell phone playing simple puzzle games like Bejeweled or Zuma? Cingular is ready to bring some more mobile games to your cell phone thanks to a deal the service provider has signed with Gamevill, a Korean-based game developer who recently established an American branch in Los Angeles.

The plan calls for seven to eight titles a year. Gamevill will sell their games directly to Cingular, who in turn will offer them to their subscribers. There is no middle-man, no local publisher. Some of the games that we should be expecting include NOM and Skipping Stone.
