Google is trying to take over everything to do with computers, but they aren’t stopping there. The company recently set aside $1 billion to set up a philanthropic organization. That organization will be developing a car which runs on ethanol, electricity and gasoline. Their goal is to develop a car which gets 100 mph, thereby saving the environment and making the world a better, more Google-y place. It seems odd that they would think they would be able to take on all the startups and car companies working on the same goal, but Google obviously isn’t afraid of anyone.
