So you want to record TV on your iPod? No problem. Here’s the iLoad-v, ready to do just that.

It’s a DVR approximation that is designed for transference to portable devices. You can plug the iPod and your TV or satellite cable into the back of the iLoad-v, get a S-video cable and hook up up to the TV, and you’re good to go.

The resulting combination of electronics should create a menu on your TV, through which you can record events just like you would on a TiVO or other kind of DVR. How much you can have at one time depends on how many gigabytes you have on that iPod, of course.

By the way, you can also record to an external USB or flash drive and then parcel those shows or movies out to the iPod a few at a time.

So where can you get one of these? Well, they’re not out yet. The manufacturer expects to begin shipping in November and to charge US$100. You can see a demo and get more info here.
