The skinny on the Pentax Optio T20

Pentax has got a skinny digital camera coming down the assembly line and they’re claiming it is the world’s slimmest with the three-inch LCD class. The Optio T20 is just 19.5mm (0.77″) thick, after all.

You won’t find any advanced DSLR-type things here, as the T20 is designed with point-and-shooters in mind. Utter simplicty but with a huge 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD. High resolution photographs come by way of the 7 megapixel imaging sensor, coupled with standard 3x optical zoom.

They say that the smc Pentax lens helps you avoid ghosting “and other unwanted elements”, whereas the special “My Drawing” mode lets you add caricatures with the stylus. Other key features include a handful of shooting modes, VGA video at 30fps, 12MB internal memory, SD card slot, 4x digital zoom, and USB 2.0.

Look for the Pentax Optio T20 compact digital camera to hit shelves next month with an asking price of $350.
