Samsung’s known for their slider phones, and while the ones they’re offering in their native Korea are just a touch sexier than what we can get here, the sloppy seconds are still pretty darn attractive. Drifting its way onto the Alltel network is the Samsung “Nimbus”, which some of you may know better as the U420. Perhaps the best part of this phone is its price: Sign a two-year contract and get two of these sliders for less than 50 bucks.

The feature set on this 3.4 ounce phone isn’t terribly impressive with just a VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, and BREW Client 3.1.4, but what did you expect, considering your net price is only $25 per phone? What is nice, however, is that this is the first Alltel phone to work with Axcess Shop (based on uiOne tech from Qualcomm), effectively giving you through-the-air access to a variety of multimedia content. XM Radio, wallpaper, ringtones, and games are all at your fingertips.
