Credit XM for giving it away.

The satellite radio pioneer is now making a pink version of the popular Inno portable music player, with proceeds going to breast cancer research.

The Inno is a lightweight DAP that lets you listen to both XM satellite radio and your own MP3s or WMAs. That satellite functionality extends to other info as well, not just music. Storage space for all of your musical favorites is 50 hours. You can also record your favorite XM content for playback.

This is rather a pricey item, at US$349.99, but buy one and you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that a portion of your money will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. XM has pledged to donate up to US$150,000 to this foundation.

The Pink Inno goes on sale September 10.
