It’s about time: Cingular gets RAZR V3i

Here’s one of these instances where you’ve been waiting so long for something that by the time you actually have a chance to get it, you’re not all that interested anymore. RAZRs appear to be a dime a dozen these day: they’re everywhere. That hasn’t stopped Cingular from joining the upper-end of the party by adding the V3i music phone to their lineup.

The iTunes-capable cell phone, as you know, does everything that the previous GSM incarnation did (the plain Jane V3) and more (and better). Even after all this time, however, they haven’t significantly reduced the price.

Yup, it’s still a fairly hefty $250 with a 2-year contract, and that includes a $50 mail-in-rebate. Personally, I think I’d keep the waiting game going for the KRZR.
