Colorful Alienware Aurora m9700 notebooks boast dual graphics cards

If you happen to be hanging out by Area 51, you’ll get a kick out of the Aurora m9700 notebook, now available in Cyborg Green, Saucer Silver, and (I think best of all) Conspiracy Blue.

As expected from any Alienware laptop, these are designed with graphics-heavy applications in mind. You will be hard pressed to find a better equipped 17-inch gaming notebook as the m9700 as it throws down not one, but two 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 graphics cards for a combined 1GB of graphics memory.

You won’t be running out of space to stash your data either, because there is a pair of 160GB hard drives (320GB total) under the hood as well. These new colorful offerings, according to VP of Marketing Mark Vena, firmly “reinforce Alienware as the brand of choice for computing power and cool design.” Prices start at $1700.
